Observation, surveillance, consent are the key words of the Eye-View exhibition cycle curated by Videocity. But in its nocturnal setting, they suggest different reflections: it’s Saturday night, an evening of freedom and liberation. The night offers a setting for the quest of personal and universal limits. Where exactly are these limits? Does surveillance change behavior? Or is the medium of video so integrated into the collective consciousness that, on the contrary, it becomes part of this environment of debauchery, serving as evidence or even a stage?
The “Eye/View” exhibition brings together the eyes of the club's visitors with those of the video artworks and DJ live acts. We invite you to join us for four exciting nights where everything is in motion: our bodies, our heads, our hearts. Four times, where video art, music and club visitors form a fascinating 6-hour total work of art that can only be experienced at Motel Campo.

Observation, surveillance, consentement sont les mots-clés du cycle d’exposition Eye/View monté par Videocity (https://www.videocity.org/eye-view), dans lequel les vidéos ont été sélectionnées par la jeune curatrice Alizée. Mais dans son cadre nocturne, proposent des réflexions différentes : le samedi soir, soir de liberté, de libération, soir de quête aux limites, personnelles, universelles : où se trouvent ces dernières justement ? La surveillance change-t-elle les comportements ? Ou la vidéo est-elle tellement intégrée dans la conscience collective qu’au contraire, elle fait partie de cet environnement de débauche, servant de preuve ou même de scène ?
Le thème « Eye/View » fait se croiser les regards des visiteur.es.x de la discothèque avec ceux des œuvres d'art vidéo et des live acts des DJ. Nous vous invitons à quatre nuits passionnantes où tout est en mouvement : nos corps, nos têtes, nos cœurs. Quatre fois, l'art vidéo, la musique et les visiteur.es.x du club forment pendant 6 heures une œuvre d'art totale fascinante qui ne peut être vécue que de cette manière et lors de ce samedi soir très spécial.
