In light of profound social and technological upheavals, dualistic models of thinking and clearly defined hierarchies between nature and technology are being fundamentally questioned. They are being replaced by a relational structure, in which humans no longer appear as autonomous entities, but must renegotiate their place within complex interdependencies.

The artistic perspectives presented in the exhibition navigate this field of tension, in which organic and technological, but also media-related levels overlap. They explore the framework conditions of a modern, media- and technology-structured life that is characterized by a drive for order, but at the same time also by uncertainties. The visual worlds that emerge in this context are correspondingly ambivalent, analytical, and stimulating for exploratory discussion, but also unstable, fragmented, and threatening. They make it possible to experience how human existence attempts to reconstitute itself in relational, media- and technology-influenced contexts.
