Since early 2025, the Museum of Odesa Modern Art and Videocity have been collaborating to curate video programmes in both Odessa and Bern. Curator Andrii Sihuntsov has been invited to compile a selection from the MoOMA collection on the theme of “Posthuman”. The exhibition is in two parts in October and November.

Andrii Sihuntsov writes: "Even as we approach a posthuman horizon, our connection to humanity lies in our ability to suffer, endure and wrestle with our transient bodies. These works dismantle the anthropocentric worldview. They transport us to realms where identity shatters and reforms amid technology, trauma and temporal change."

The selection also offers an overview of the cinematic art of the Odessa Oblast from the early 1990s to the present day – for the first time in Switzerland.
